Rebecca G. Baird, M.D.
, FACOG
Dr. Rebecca Baird, a native of Charleston, attended local schools prior to recieving a B.S.Ed. at the University of Georgia. Following college, she spent six months working as a volunteer for the Episcopal Church in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. It was through this experience that she was inspired to pursue a career in medicine. She received her medical degree at MUSC where she met her husband, Dr. David Baird. Dr. Baird did her residency in Ob/Gyn at the Georgia Baptist Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia where she received the resident of the year award and 1st place for resident research papers in 1991. She and her husband were delighted to return to the Lowcountry to start practice in 1991. Dr. Baird, who is board certified in Ob/Gyn, is also a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the South Carolina Medical Association. She has a special interest in gynecologic surgery, adolescent gynecology, and obstetrical care. Her outside interests include spending time with her family, traveling and surfing. She and her husband are active members of St. Philips Episcopal Church. They currently live on a small farm in Ravenel with their four children. (and 3 dogs, 2 horses, 58 cows and many chickens!) |

Alison E. Dillon, M.D.
, FACOG
Dr. Alison Dillon is an OB/GYN who specializes in high-risk pregnancies. Dr. Dillon received her undergraduate degree with honors from Wake Forest University in 1987 and from Wake Forest's medical school in 1991. She moved to Charleston with her husband for her OB/GYN training at The Medical University of South Carolina. Following this, she was selected to do two additional years of training in high risk pregnancies and prenatal ultrasound also at MUSC. During this time she had two children bringing a truly personal understanding to her work. After completing her fellowship Dr. Dillon joined Charleston OB/GYN in 1997 where she has focused on wellness of all women from teens onward. Whether her patient is the picture of health or has medical issues that need fine tuning she enjoys setting the foundation for a healthy pregnancy. Dr. Dillon is Board certified in both OB/GYN and Maternal Fetal Medicine. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, The Society for Maternal and Fetal Medicine, The Medical Society of South Carolina, the Charleston County Medical Society and serves on the Roper Saint Francis Healthcare Board. Additionally, she is director of the ultrasound unit for Charleston OB/GYN. She has worked extensively to certify this unit with the American Institute for Ultrasound in Medicine, a certification process that requires an attention to quality few practices are able achieve. Denise Devine, M.D.
, FACOG
Dr. Denise Devine was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. She graduated from Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology. She then returned to Louisville to attend The University of Louisville School of Medicine. Following completion of her Medical Degree, she moved to Columbia, South Carolina for her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The University of South Carolina School of Medicine. Dr. Devine was the Administrative Chief Resident during her senior year. |

Jennifer F. Fisher, M.D.
Dr. Jennifer Fisher grew up on James Island. She received her undergraduate education at the Honor College at Columbia College, where she majored in Biology. She then attended the Medical University of South Carolina, where she received her medical degree. Upon graduation, she moved to Jacksonville, FL to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Florida Health Sciences Center. During her residency, she received many awards including the Max Suter Excellence in Gynecologic Oncology Award, the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists Excellence in Laparoscopy Award, The Golden Apple Resident Teaching Award, and multiple awards for resident research. While in residency, she completed the prestigious Galloway Fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan, NY. Dr. FIsher joined Charleston OB/GYN in August 2009 and is thrilled to be back in Charleston taking care of Lowcountry women. She has special interests in minimally invasive surgery, patient education, medical history, adolescent gynecology, and cancer screening. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the South Carolina Medical Association, The Waring Historical Library Society, and the AAGL. She is married and has one child. |

Lauren Frasciello Hamilton, M.D.
, FACOG
Dr. Hamilton was born in Pennsylvania and grew up in Princeton Jct., New Jersey. She is the granddaughter of Italian and Hungarian immigrants. Arriving with little, their hard work and dedication to their families proved to be a great influence on Dr. Hamilton and laid the foundation for her desire to study medicine. She attended Goucher College in Towson, Maryland where she held many leadership positions. She went on to obtain a Master of Science in Anatomy from the University of Maryland. She fulfilled her lifelong dream of becoming a physician by attending Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. She completed her residency at the Medical University of South Carolina where she was the administrative chief resident. She was awarded the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists Excellence in Laparoscopy Award. Dr. Hamilton joined Charleston OB/GYN in 1997. She enjoys caring for women of all ages but her favorite part of her career is having the privilege to watch her patients grow and change throughout their lives. She enjoys getting to know her patients on a personal level and wants to know how their physical health is affecting their emotional well being. It is her goal to help patients achieve their best in all aspects of their lives. Her special interests include obstetrics, vaginal surgery, and laparoscopic surgery. She is married and has two daughters. |

William Stanley Ottinger, MD, FACOG
Dr. Ottinger is originally from Charlotte, North Carolina. He received his BS from Presbyterian College, his MD from Medical University of South Carolina and went on to perform his Internship/Residency also at MUSC. He is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, a member of the Charleston County Medical Society, a Fellow of the American Board Of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Dr. Ottinger has been very instrumental in bringing state of the art gynecological surgery to the Charleston area. His special interests include urogynecology, advanced minimally invasive gynecological procedures for abnormal bleeding and pain. These procedures include endometrial ablation, advanced laproscopy, including da Vinci robotic surgery. Dr. Ottinger offers Essure sterilization and was the first private physician in the area to offer this procedure in the office setting. Dr. Ottinger has trained many area physicians on advanced minimally invasive procedures and strives to offer cutting edge technology for his patients. Some of Dr. Ottinger's hobbies include fishing, boating, and snow skiing. He has been married for 14 years and is the father of two daughters. |

Heidi M. Sapp, MD, FACOG
Dr. Sapp grew up in a rural farming community in Iowa. She received her Bachelor's degree from Winona State University in Minnesota. After college, she volunteered at an orphanage in Brazil before attending medical school at the University of Iowa. During medical school, she traveled to Kenya and Ecuador on medical mission trips. She completed her OB/GYN residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. During residency, she received the Golden Apple Teaching Award, the Faculty Excellence Teaching Award, the H. Oliver Williamson Award for excellence in Gynecology, and she was the Chief Resident of Administration. Dr. Sapp joined Charleston Ob/Gyn in 2008. Her interests are in medical missions, endocrine disorders, and laparoscopic surgery. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the South Carolina Medical Association and the Christian Medical and Dental Association. She is married and has one daughter. |
