Ultrasonography is used in both Obstetrics and Gynecology.  We have on-site ultrasound facilities at our West Ashley office for our patients’ convenience. Obstetric ultrasounds are performed for a variety of reasons, such as dating a pregnancy, first trimester screening, anatomic surveillance of a fetus, and fetal well-being and growth. Gynecologic issues that may require ultrasound include abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic pain, pelvic masses, heavy periods, and post-menopausal bleeding. We provide the latest in technology and we will review your results with you the same day that your ultrasound is performed.
